Thank you for visiting the 42nd Annual Summer Show at the Sawdust Art Festival. Our 2008 Summer season ended Sunday, August 31. We hope you enjoyed the fine art and craft of our 200 Laguna Beach artists and that you'll return to experience other creatively fun Sawdust art events. And join our E-mail Club to receive Sawdust updates and special offers, too.

Art enthusiasts, collectors, and novice artists have come to the Sawdust since our beginning in 1966 for our mix of fine art and craft. Media include hand blown and fused glass, painting, jewelry, surf art, ceramics, textile, wood and metal sculpture, scrimshaw, photography, and so much more. And, our artists are eager to share their creative process with you so please, feel free to ask questions.

In keeping with our mission, “to educate the public about the art created in Laguna Beach,” the Sawdust Art Festival provides a variety of art and craft projects for all ages at our Children’s Art Spot, Ceramics Booth, Sawdust Studio, and our world-class Glass Blowing Booth. We also offer Summer Evening Art Classes at 7 p.m. Sunday-Thursdays. We hope you’ll try your hand at creating your own masterpiece.

Get an up close visit with select artists during our Meet the Artists Tour on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. or take an *Weekend Walkabout Tour of the Sawdust grounds to learn interesting tidbits on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 noon. Tours are complimentary with admission. Reservations are recommended for groups of 8 or more. *NOTE: there will be no Walkabout Tours closing weekend August 30 & 31. The 2008 Sawdust Artists’ Benevolence Fund Art Auction was another success... thank you! This organization continues to raise funds to support local artists in times of dire need throughout the year, so join their mailing list to stay informed.

Take a breather from your art classes, shopping and sight seeing to enjoy a fresh meal at one of our three outdoor cafés or to enjoy our live entertainment. And if you need more time to experience the Sawdust, simply upgrade to a Season Pass!
