The Ken and Roger Show on TMOA Radio recently did a Machinima special. Which discussed the different software available, including The Movies, iClone, Antics and Moviestorm. Guests were Capemedia and Steelblade_1.

The show is now available for download at http://www.tmoaradio.com/infusions/fs_downloads/fsdownloads.php?action=view&folder_id=1&subfolder=/TMOA%20Show%20Archives/The%20Roger%20and%20Ken%20Show/108-16th%20March%202008/

Excellent, Roger - thanks for letting us know. I'll download that and take a listen later on today.

EDIT: Does the show have a podcast feed? I can't seem to find one on the site.

No we don't have a podcast feed. Just direct download. Sorry!

The show is 5 hours long. 1st hour is banter, 2nd is features and the start of interviews. The rest of the show is generally interviews.

TMOA has primarily been aimed at the Movies community, but the times they are a changing! I see as time goes on, that we will focus more on Machinima in general.

We play commercials for Machinima movies (for free). All you have to do is make the commercial and we will run it.

You can also contact me about any announcements you'd like made, about your movies etc.

Say what?

I wondered why the download was split into five parts. That's some pretty mammoth listening. It might take me a few days to get through all of that!

How often do you release? At 5 hours a show it must take an age to edit and render each show.

Ken usually releases the download within a week, sometimes the next day.

We sometimes do longer shows. 10 hours for new year and 24 hours for our anniversary.

It's funny you should say that. Because it was your email that made me think that Moviestorm users would be interested in hearing the show.

I for one would be very glad to become more involved with all things Moviestorm on the show.

could actually keep the name. just change movies to machinima. although The Machinima On Air is a little odd i guess.

i'd just call it Machinima On Air or Machinima Radio.

if you go this route -- branching out and all-- maybe you and ken could hook up with phil rice. have you ever listened to The Overcast, roger?
at very least you should have him as a guest on your show... and visa versa.

ok. wow. i'll shut up now.

here's to expansion!

I haven't listened to that show I'm afraid.

I don't see the station name changing. After all the "Movies" referred to can be considered as all movies. Previously we have mostly featured TMO and real movies. So other software types still fit in nicely with the current remit of the station.
