Microsoft gives somewhere around 30% back for many Ebay purchases, depending on the link they display on Live.com. Try following these steps.

Click here, then click the Ebay Cashback in the Sponsored Links section at the top of the page. It will say something like "You may get xx% off with PayPal if eligible." (example). That takes you to Ebay.com and activates a 30% rebate promotion from Microsoft's Live.com.
Some product results will be displayed on Ebay. At the very top of the Ebay page, search for something else that you are interested in buying, such as a Nintendo Wii or 1TB hard drive. While searching for products, make sure to change the search parameters on left side of the screen to limit the results to "Buy It Now" items only (example).
When you find something you want to buy, click "Buy It Now". Sign in to your Ebay account if prompted to do so.
On the "Buy It Now" summary page, look for a green horizontal text which says "Microsoft cashback" (example). If this does not appear, then the item you selected is not eligible for the Cashback, so you should go back and find another item. If you click "continue" to buy, only do so if you really are interested in buying that item.
On the "Review and Commit" page for the Buy It Now, it should display green text which reads "Microsoft Cashback 30%" along with a dollar amount you will receive in cashback (example). Only commit to buy if the Microsoft Cashback amount appears.

Many items sold through Ebay should work with this promotion, Playstation 3, Nintendo wii, iPod Touch, graphics card, 1TB hard drive, etc. Only certain Ebay purchases are eligible, so make sure it displays a Microsoft Cashback dollar amount on the page where you review before committing to buy.
