Garmin built an AMPS one, and it turns out the build a GSM one, but
from what I can tell, I am pretty sure it is GSM900 (not for sale in
the USA/Canada).

The old product, the Navtalk, was discontinued about 5 years ago, but
is AMPS compatible. You might be able to find one on ebay, or asking
Garmin if they know of any hidden away...
