Delhi boy Ashish Vidhyarathi has become the vicious villain of Bollywood. The only child of his parents, Ashish joined the Sambhav Theater Group which was known for its quality plays at a time when there was a flood of lewd Punjabi plays. Ashish joined films though he did not plan it as his career. He acted in films like 'Drohkaal' 'Haseena Maan Jayegi' 'Jaanwar', 'Badal' and 'Bichchoo'. He is aware that he has not yet been able to attain the number one position in Bollywood, either as a hero or as a villain. But he claims that he has never be out of work since he joined movies. He is very proud to inform, "I am doing several projects in Hindi, English, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada".
Ashish is happy and satisfied with his career. Three of his films in different shades of character would be out during this year. "My ego as an actor may not be pampered, but I am satisfied that I get paid for doing something I like. Moreover, the success is the state of mind and it depends on how one feels about one self". Ashish says that he cannot survive looking only at negative side as what he has to go through in Bollywood. Life has only come as a full circle for him. This is what Ashish Vidhyarthi told us recently at a meeting in Delhi during the Heart Care Foundation of India function organized for advising women on heart care.
