Hi Jon Harald Søby. Welcome to Betawiki! Please create a user page on which you describe which language(s) you will be working on. If you are going to be an active user here, please also add your name to the languages you will be working on. Before you can use Special:Translate, and Special:Magic, please request translator rights. If you have a wiki where a lot of translations have already been made, you can make an import request. Other useful pages are linked in the Betawiki menu that comes with this message.

Once you have started translating, your work will be committed to the standard product every few days. If you want to explicitely request your work to be added, please make a request for commit.

I will translate this in the eavening from Romanian: Am preloat mesajele de la wikipedia:ro:special:Allmessages, am şters atât referenţele la proiectele fondaţiei ("Wikipedia", "Commons", "Meta") cât şi referenţele la proiectele înrudite, referenţele la extensiunile, "Monobook.css", am simplificat "Monobook.js", şi am marcat prin "****" mesajele care ar trebui traduse luând ca bază versiunea de la "Messages.php". Unele mesaje conţineau lincuri vechi "meta.wikipedia.org" sau referinţe la pagini speciale a căror denumiri au fost schimbate ("special:AllMessages"). Alte pagini speciale au fost folosite doar în trecut şi abandonate în ultimul timp. Mesajele de tradus / de adaptat le găşesti la category:!/no.

It is just a coincidence that they are the same as the English messages. If the English messages are changed, then the Norwegian ones will automatically be wrong. If we keep them up, that won't happen. Jon Harald Søby 18:32, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

The reason it isn’t available on gu.wikipedia, is because you haven’t translated that page. It is still in English here. When you translate it, it will be available in Gujarati on gu.wikipedia (and other wikis). But I may have mistunderstood what you meant. Anyways, deleting, the messages that exist on wikipedia:gu:Special:Allmessages is what you need to do. I’ve deleted a lot of messages myself on the Norwegian Wikipedia. Please see Template:Identical/Height. What is wrong is, it always links to /en pages. So if you're trying to edit MediaWiki:Height/fa for example, and you want to have a glance at the translations to the other equivalent messages, you have to modify the title bar manually. I think we should have a way to deal with it automatically. Huji 20:17, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

For me it links to /no pages. It links to the language of the interface; you do use Farsi as the interface language, right? If you are, there's a bug somewhere... Jon Harald Søby 20:18, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
No I don't. It is a pain in ass to use a RTL interface in a LTR wiki. Regardless, I believe the template should disregard the interface language, and follow the language you are translating at that moment. Huji 15:12, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
It’s fixed now. It will use SUBPAGENAME in the translating namespaces, and UILANGCODE for pages in other namespaces (because they don’t have subpages with language codes normally). Jon Harald Søby 19:41, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Hei, ser at du har omsett ein del på FreeCol. Har du spelt spelet, sånn at du veit nokolunde kor meldingane dukkar opp; eller tek du det på 'gefylen'? Kunne vore litt interessant å veta kor mykje eg skal 'retta meg etter' omsetjingane du har lagt inn.
