The Outlander Club was an entertainment establishment on Coruscant that served as a hangout for gamblers, dancers and patrons of many species on Vos Gesel Street in Coruscan'ts Uscru Entertainment District. The club was founded a few years before the Alsakan Crisis by Adhamh Dashin and quickly became a front for crime. It later came under the ownership of other unscrupulous owners until it was purchased by Vendere Dashin before the Invasion of Utapau. Throughout the thousands of years it operated, many upper class citizens stopped in for a drink or to discuss business with associates, though there were also numerous degenerates that hung around the bars. There was a great demand to watch swoop racing from the large HoloNet screens that the club utilized for entertainment purposes.
Featured in the club were games of sabacc and betting on sports such as swoop racing, nuna-ball and Odupiendo racing, all of which were displayed on the tele-screens. The criminal underworld also had a presence, including death stick dealers and con-artists. It catered for more shadowy, illegal venues and in the lower levels, fights were staged between varying combatants. There was even betting on the Galactic Games, which was illegal.
The club took its gamblers so seriously that it provided sleeping compartments for gamblers whose games lasted some time. These compartments also allowed them to enjoy the various temporary companions who could be found in the club, suitably dressed to suggest their availability. The club was not a brothel, though it did allow free-lancers to play their trade.
