"100 percent" was the phrase commonly used by ARC troopers, a division of elite clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, meaning "perfect". This phrase was often used as a response to confirm an order from a commanding officer or a central command control, or to indicate readiness for an approaching situation.

"10 percent" was also occasionally used by clone troopers to describe extremely undesirable or dangerous situations.

[edit] Behind the scenes

  • In the Vietnam War, both American military personnel and Vietnamese civilians used similar expressions. "Number 10" meant bad, "Number 1" meant good, and "Number ten thousand" meant horrible.
