Buffet was sad first it smells of smoke if your a smoker you may dig it but if not you'll definitely may want to think about eating somewhere else. Food was not that great at all. I would go somewhere else for the money and all these people talking about it was cheap it wasnt when we went it was rather expensive for what we got in return. We went to mickey d's later that same night. I wont ever go back.
The casino buffet has a good selection of food. It has items such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, fried chicken, roast, barbecue, and an assortment of side dishes. There's an Asian section as well. The buffet also includes a huge salad bar and a dessert counter that has almost every standard pie and cake. Even though there are many choices, the taste of each thing is just average. I went during lunch and the service wasn't that great. It took the waiter a few minutes to notice me. At the present time prices are as follows: Breakfast: $6.99; Lunch: $8.99; Dinner: $15.99.
The Grand is no longer grand! Since Katrina the Grand has lost all of its charm. It was a warm friendly place to gamble and enjoy the food and service. Now it is small tight slots samll casino. It lacks food choices and service was poor in the casino. The rewards program is a joke. No comps for playing table games and slots choices were few. Rooms were OK but noisy. Better choice to stay is the Hard Rock Casino. They are free with comps food choices are great and service is excellent. Dont waste your time at the Grand!
