HP integrates this new thin architecture within ProLiant platforms to provide unprecedented deployment simplicity to virtual environments.

- Active hardware management. HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) providers are pre-installed along with integrated VMware ESX Server 3i on the USB key to provide active hardware management using HP SIM. - Consolidated lifecycle management. Future updates to integrated VMware ESX Server 3i can be made using the same tool used to update ProLiant system firmware.
