Apartment Accommodation Brisbane

Postby sunnybride on Fri May 16, 2008 1:19 pm

Hi Ladies,

We are printing our invitations this weekend and I am including an insert with accommodation suggestions for out of town guests. Can anyone suggest some reasonably priced either apartment or hotel accommodation in Brisbane City? I am a bit stuck

Thanks for your help!

I know of the Aster and the Republic, I have stayed at both and they are pretty nice and decently priced. They may have minimum stays as they are serviced apartments and not hotel rooms though.

here is a list I found from google ;)

Well "resonable" is a matter of opinion but we had to look for FH family (with kids) when they were coming up here (They ended up staying on the Gold coast so can't give first hand account!)
but we found:

Bonapartes: http://www.bonapartesapartments.com.au $195 a night for 2 bedroom apartment, sleeps 4. In Spring Hill, Brisbane City

Toowong Villas: http://www.toowongvillas.com.au/ $175 2 bedroom villa Just out of the CBD, 5-10min drive (traffic depending!) still very central

Tarings Gardens http://www.taringagardens.com.au/ $155 2 bedroom apartment Just next suburb to Toowong

Hope this helps!

Hi Sunnybride,

I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but the Oaks group have a few apartment buildings located around the CBD. Nice and handy for public transport for out-of-town guests.

This is the website:

I've never stayed there personally, but it's one of the options I'm considering for our guests when the time comes.

I ended up going with these guys: http://www.oxygenapartments.com.au

They are up in Spring Hill so not right in the city but their rates were quite good and I specifically wanted apartments. They are also not too far from Vic Park where we are having our reception.

They were also willing to give me the rate just off what they advertise on wotif even though everyone was booking in advance. So hopefully they will turn out ok for everyone!

Thank you to everyone who provided me with their recommendations. :D
