Due to the number of creative groups responsible for crafting the tale of the first defeaters of Char Reyarteb and the founders of the seminal Cerulean Citadel, the tale of the Four Underdogs is necessarily complex.

Canon among the various properties has always been murky and many theories have come and gone among fans as to the correct way in which the various versions fit together. Recent additions to canon have addressed most outstanding issues although explainations put forth are accepted to varying degrees among the various fan factions.

• Elemenstor Radio Dramas is a story of the same four characters which was released at the same time as season I of ElamenSTAR, and aired on BBC Radio.

• Wizbits Extreme is the Japanese re-interpretation of the American show The Wizbits, which differs mostly in adding rubian-powered robot armor. It aired in Japan at the same time as The Wizbits Cartoon aired in America, both teams working from reimagined versions of the original ElamenSTAR episodes.
