My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Piatti on Friday night. We made reservations but arrived 25 minutes early. After letting us know that they probably wouldn't be able to seat us until closer to our reservation time, we were led to a table less than 5 minutes after our arrival. We had an excellent waitress who was friendly and knowledgable. The dish I had was just like one I had in a small village in Tuscany. It was a lamb, red pepper and chickpea ragut over pasta with a few shavings of ricotta - heaven! My husband had the veal and was equally impressed. The open kitchen, great patio and fireplace are all pluses in my opinion. Also despite some other reviews I found it priced quite reasonably, especially for the Cherry Creek location.

Pros: Food, service, ambience

My wife and I had dinner at Piatti on Tuesday night. We were greeted by a bubbly hostess and werre told there was a bit of a wait for a table. We gladly sat at the bar. The bartender was extememly busy, yet fast and still more than willing to allow us to taste a few wines. Our server was very prompt and friendly as well. Although, he did seem to have a bit of a sweating problem. The food was fantastic and may very well be the best Italian we have had in this dusty ol' cowtown. My only complaints are the Institution style shirts the staff wears. I felt like I was having dinner in prison every time I looked at any staff member. And the music is awful. 80's adult contemporary? Are you kidding me? I fully expected Sheena Easton to walk out of the bathroom at any moment because I was sure they were giving her a tribute.

Pros: Service and Food

Cons: Music and staff appearance!

This is the best thing I have ever had! Thought the salad dressing was a bit garlicy, but the bread, service and this amazing dish of lemon ravioli was incredible!

We went to Piatti for a Saturday lunch and it was wonderful. The Margherita pizza is highly recommended, it was delicious. Service was friendly; a bit slow on the refills but the food came very quickly. And their desserts are amazing!

Pros: Great food and convenient location

Cons: A bit pricy

My boyfriend and I went here for the second time, and we were greeted by a very welcoming hostess and staff. We were promptly seated outside at my suggestion- Piatti has a wonderful patio. However, when the wind began to pick up and we asked if we could move inside, our waiter was happy to do so and moved us quickly to a new table, where we received the same wonderful service. Our waiter was warm and casual and the rest of the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was slow to arrive, although we weren't in a rush so it didn't matter. Also, the cost was a bit pricier than we expected. ($50 for two entrees, one salad, a dessert)

Pros: Ambiance, Service, Parking Lot

Cons: Cost

The food was absolutely awful. The bolognese tasted and resembled something that would have come out of a can. The fettuccine with mushrooms was cold and lacked any flavor. I expressed my disappoint with the manager who really didnt care nor offer to do anything. The table next to us was disapointed as well. If you are looking for a restaurant offering flavorless overpriced food with poor management you will find it all at Ristorante Piatti!

Pros: None

Cons: awful food, poor management, over priced

visited Saturday, July 23, and had an extremely disappointing evening. Our family went with a special friend from Brazil to enjoy the evening in Cherry Creek North. We were seated promptly, but that's where it ended. The service was rude and put a damper on the evening. The food was good, but did not make up for the server's attitude. The manager's handling of the situation only made our departure more frustrating. eater - be ware

Pros: food, price/portion

Cons: service, service, service

My fiance and I have been to Piatti several times for "romantic" dates. Piatti never disappoints - great Italian food, nice location, and nice decor. We've always made reservations as the area around the Cherry Creek Mall is usually packed with people looking for something to eat. I recommend the ravioli in a lemon cream sauce.

My fiance and I went in on a whim and the wait was long, but the bar was available for seating and it was a great decision. Female bartender was super waitress and very friendly. Non-smoking, pleasant, but active atmosphere. Terrific food.

Pros: Bar seating, Friendly bartender, Delicious food

Cons: Long wait for table, parking
