What is Black Friday?

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. Black Friday is the first day of the Christmas shopping season and stores will offer great prices for many desired items. In recent years, people have camped out overnight to help increase their chances of getting a particular item. Is an overnight wait worth the savings? That's up to you to figure out. Remember you'll be waiting in two lines: one to get into the store and another to get out.

How do you know what is on sale?

Any and all items posted on BFAds.net prior to an advertisement being nationally released are to be regarded as speculation. We are in no way affiliated with any stores listed on our site and any sale information is in no way validated or confirmed until released an advertisement has been released by its parent company. Don\'t be surprised if our speculated deals are correct, we do have a very good track record in the past years.

How "confirmed" do you think these ads are?

All deals posted on the site are considered have a high potential of being actual Black Friday deals. All deal submissions are screened against prior years and common sense. Nothing can be completely confirmed until the ads are officially released. BFAds.net will only post deals that seem valid.

Are the prices before rebate, after rebate, etc?

To avoid confusion, prices are BEFORE rebate. If an item has a rebate, it will be indicated in the item title (e.g. \"Item Name ($40 Mail-in-Rebate)\" - $150 ). The final price for that item, after rebates, will be $110.

What can I do with the advanced sales information?

For the casual shopper, you can use our search feature to search for the cheapest price for an item throughout all stores, create a shopping list and generally plan your entire Black Friday shopping experience a good week or two in advance. (The actual ads are usually released two days before Black Friday, with one of those days being Thanksgiving - not a whole lot of planning time there) For the more dedicated shopper, you can go to the retail store(s) of your choice and either:

Option 1
Hide your desired Black Friday items in random places throughout the store. Big appliances and lesser frequented areas are the primary places to hide items. This way, you can stroll into the store an hour or so before the Black Friday sale ends, make your way to the refrigerators or washing machines and walk out with some of the big name Black Friday items with (hopefully) little hassle. The one drawback to this plan is that it's growing more and more common, so shoppers who barely missed out of acquiring an item through typical means may decide to pillage the appliances hoping to find your hidden away items. Store employees may also check for hidden items the day before Black Friday.

Option 2
Purchase your desired Black Friday items a week in advance. Come back during the Black Friday sale, but go to the Customer Service desk. Price-match your purchase from the week before to the current Black Friday price. Some stores are wising up to this and do not have their Customer Service desks open during Black Friday sale hours. Some stores (primarily Best Buy) have made most of their Black Friday advertisements good for the entire week(end) following Black Friday, so you may even be able to avoid the Black Friday rush all-together.

What do AR, MIR and B&M mean?

AR = After - Rebate MIR = Mail-in-Rebate B&M = Brick and Mortar (refers to deals that are only available at retail locations)

Can you add this store?

We already have near 50 stores in our database. If BFAds receives advertisement/sale information for a store not on our site, we will add that store and its corresponding sale information.

I have access to the Black Friday ads for a store mentioned or not-mentioned on your site!

Please proceed to our adscan submission form. Thanks in advance!
