Sophos released today the results of a recent poll of more than 3,000 IT systems administrators and found that only 66% of firms are updating their office-based anti-virus software on a daily basis. In addition, 70% of companies are only updating the anti-virus protection of their remote workers (who have equal access to the network) on a weekly or even less frequent basis--despite the fact that several new viruses appear each day.
